Wilkins WXTP-18 4.5 Gallon expantion tank

Designed for installation on potable water lines between the backflow preventer or pressure reducing valve and the water heater to protect against water thermal expantion. When system pressure increases, water enters the tank's bladder which expands into the pre-charged air chamber, keeping system pressure below the releif valve setting.

Review on Wilkins WXTP-18 4.5 Gallon expantion tank

Good product. No complaints. If sized correctly to your home hot water system it will work well. My expansion tank maintains the 50 psig pressure. I installed a pressur gauge in house water system with maximum indicating pressure gauge to make sure we are not getting thermal expansion pressure spikes and we are not getting any.

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.
