Wilkins Regulator 70-C 3/4" 25-75LB Water Pressure Regulator Valve

Designed for installation on potable water lines to reduce high inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. The unitized replaceable cartridge reduces time involved with cleaning and maintenance. The direct acting integral bypass design prevents buildup of excessive system pressure caused by thermal expansion. The balanced piston design enables the regulator to react in a smooth and responsive manner to changes in system flow demand, while at the same time, providing protection from inlet pressure changes.

Wilkins Regulator 70-C 3/4" 25-75LB Water Pressure Regulator Valve Features:
• Maximum working water pressure 300 psi
• Maximum working water temperature 180°F
• Reduced pressure range 25 psi to 75 psi
• Factory preset 50 psi
• Threaded connections (FNPT) ANSI B1.20.1
• Copper connections (FC) ANSI B16.22
• CPVC tailpiece: Max.hot water temp. 180°F @ 100 psi
• Cold water rated temp. 73.4°F @ 400 psi
• C - with FC (copper sweat) union connection

Very much like an expansion tank, the Watts Water Pressure Reducing Valve is designed to reduce water pressure within your plumbing system. Maintaining a steady pressure is important for the maintenance of your pipes and safety of your family.

5/5 StarsWell made item | Solid, machined brass well-made. Mine was a water heater installation. I put it in the wrong place (after the "pressure tank" not before) so it didn't work[...] Once I installed it in the right place, _before_ the the "pressure tank" it worked just fine. My pressure was 110, peaking at 160. This item reduced it to 50psi. It did exactly what I wanted it to do.

5/5 StarsGreat Service | It was great finding an exact replacement part for something over 20 years old. Installation was a snap.

5/5 StarsThis regulator works flawlessly. | I like this regulator because it is designed to be repaired in the field. A local plumbing distributor carries parts. My previous Watts regulator failed and was not repairable. I won't buy that brand again.

Q:Is the Model 70 adjustable? I'm assuming that when the screw is backed off some, the downstream pressure is reduced and when the screw is tightened, the downstream pressure is increased? Correct'o? Thanks JackJack | Monday, June 24, 2013

A:
I am not finding the desired repair kit in our system. That would be due to this item containing lead. We are not able to sell this item to California.
