Watts Backflow Preventer Series 009M2QT 1" Reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventers designed to protect potable water supplies in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. Protection from health hazard cross-connections or containment at the service line entrance. For continuous pressure use; protects against both back siphonage and backpressure backflow. Sizes 1/4" - 1" (8-25 mm) may have tee handle shutoffs. NPT female connections, quarter-turn, full port, resilient seated bronze ball valve shutoffs. Two in-line, independent check valves with intermediate relief valve. Standard ball type test cocks. For supply pressures up to 175 psi (12.1 bars). Sizes 1/4" - 2" (8-50 mm), water temperatures are 33F (0.5C) to 180F (82C).
