The Stiebel Eltron Mini™ tankless water heaters are designed for installation at the point-of-use. The Mini™ heats water instantaneously as it flows through the unit. Stand-by heat-losses are completely eliminated. The efficient heating elements are controlled by a simple flow switch. Additionally, all Mini™ water heaters are equipped with a safety high-limit with automatic reset.

The Mini™ 3, and Mini™ 4 models ship with a 0.5 GPM pressure compensating flow reducer / rator that fits most faucets. Flow controls and faucet rators are highly recommended in conjunction with tankless water heaters. No pressure relief valve*, drains, or circulating pumps are needed.

Review on Stiebel Eltron Mini 4 Tankless Electric Water Heater, 208/240 Volts

It is a wonderful product . I wish I had pulled a
# 10 wire instead of the # 12 . So I could have put in a larger heater . I am VERY happy with it and I would recommend this unit to anyone that needs a good point of use heater .

Q:

I am installing this in an out building with no heated space. I can protect the pipes with heat tape but hot do I protect the unit from freeze damage?

A:	When the temperature is around freezing it is recommended to completely drain the unit so that it doesn't have water that freezes in the pipes and makes it unusable. Thanks for the question.
