Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 8/10 Electric Tankless Water Heater, 208/240 Volts. Control temperature simply by setting a dial . Set the knob on the front cover and enjoy water temperatures between 86°F (30°C) and 125°F (52°C). Change the desired temperature at anytime. No purchase of a remote selector control is necessary. Advanced microprocessor technology ensures that the water temperature never deviates from the set point. No scalding. The electronic control system in the DHC-E does not allow the water temperature to go above 125°F (52°C), which eliminates the possibility that scalding may occur. On the other hand, 125°F (52°C) water is sufficiently hot for most uses. Simple design of plumbing system. There is no need for a T & P valve, drain or mixing valve. The design of the hot water plumbing system gets very simple and straight forward due to the advances introduced with the DHC-E.

Review on Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 8/10 Electric Tankless Water Heater, 208/240 Volts

I recently purchased this DHC-E 8/10 to replace a 4 gallon point of use heater. Within minutes of hooking this new heater up it was producing hotter water than the old heater ever did and without any drop in temperature! I have two other non-thermostatically controlled tankless water heaters from a different manufacturer that I will likely replace with this one in the future!

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.

Review on Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 8/10 Electric Tankless Water Heater, 208/240 Volts

I am a weekend warrior home improvement type who has reasonable plumbing and electrical skills.
The construction of the unit was easy to understand, and easy to install.
I am so happy with the performance of the unit as an in-line Hot Water Booster for my very distant gas hot water tank that gets stressed out in the mornings and evenings with too many showers and loads of laundry.
It only goes on (and you can see it with the Red Light) when it is needed, when you turn the temperature dial, and it is instant! VOILA.
It is compact and easy to install.
My recommndations for the manufacturer:
1. Publish the actual dimensions of the unit on-line
2. Enhance the access to the electrical connections of theunit. It is just too cramped for #8 wire. This was the hardest part.
3. Where does the GREEN GROUND WIRE get attached to the unit? I just guessed and attached it to the WHITE WIRE connection as well because that is what happens in my electrical circuit breaker box.
4. Describe better that 220VAC is the American setting and 240VAC is the EU setting.

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.

I live in an area where power goes off without any worning and the same goies for water, if in any of these two situation is there any danger of the heater to burn out or have any electronic problem like the electronic card ?
