Perfect under-sink water heater

Review on Rheem 81VP2S Point-of-Use Electric Water Heater, 2-1/2 Gallon, 120v

Our 50 gallon water heater is 100 feet from our new bathroom. Although we have a recirc system, it isn't cost effective to keep it running 24/7. This 2 1/2 gallon electric water heater is perfect under one of the sinks for times when the recirc pump is off. It was very easy to modify the cold-water line. You do need to add an outlet. The tank is so well insulated that when unplugged, the water was still warm after 8 hours. I connected the heater to the cold water line with flexible line, rather than solid copper so the tank could be moved a little. It sits on the floor of the sink cabinet. I adjusted the temperature (easy to do) so the water is very warm, not hot. I installed it; my husband loves it.
