PPP TCP-2 Tempera Automatic Pressue Balancing Valve, Polished Chrome

Fully automatic - no manual controls, regulating or adjustments are needed. With only one moving part, the Tempera Valve is designed to equalize the hot and cold supply line pressures. If supply line pressures should fluctuate, the stainless steel piston will move just enough to compensate for the change in pressure and release water only at the preselected temperature. May be installed at any convenient, accessible point on the supply lines, in any position or angle. May be installed in either exposed or concealed locations. Chrome plated models are available for exposed installations. Install the pressure balancing unit at the fixture before the control valve. Specify the Tempera Valve for use in homes, schools, gymnasiums, hotels, photographic darkrooms, barber shops, wherever a close control over water temperature is required.

• EXTERNAL: Red-Bronze cast body containing over 85% ingot copper. S.A.E. 40 A.S.T.M. #B62-52.
• INTERNAL: Stainless steel (Carpenter's type 8, #303) is used in the piston and sleeve.
• MAINTENANCE: A minimum is required, other than occasional flushing of foreign deposits. Of the Tempera Valve's four parts, only the balancing piston moves. This simple, compact design minimizes wear and mechanical failures.
