Moen DN2145CH 5' Curved Shower Rod, Chrome

I have installed 2 of these in the last 6 months. The first install was more challenging because I had to shorten the bar by about 1-1/2". When cutting the curved bar, it is absolutely critical to preserve the correct angle so that the ends are parallel. I used a Sharpie to mark exactly 3/4" from each end of the bar, all the way around it. I used a Dremel tool to cut through the metal along the marks that I made on each end (this part was not so easy). Presto!

Once the bar is the correct length, the rest is easy. I ended up buying better heavier screws and plastic anchors to ensure a strong installation. Installed the first bar onto tiles with the help of a ceramic drill bit. The second bar was easier to install onto drywall. If the bar is cut properly to an exact fit, it will be nice and sturdy with virtually no wiggle. The endplates are fairly flat and "lock" on, completely covering the mounting screws. I could not be happier with the results!

I've heard that these shower curtain rods make a big difference. But you can't imagine until you have it in your own shower. It truly makes a difference. I recommend this item to everyone. You can hardly see a change on the outside, but on the inside is where you see a dramatic increase of space.

my bathroom was small. I felt confined in the shower. I could not enjoy it. Now, I enjoy my showers and baths.
