Ideal for use in waterfall and stream applications, this powerful direct-drive pump features a unique dual-discharge design for operation of two water features simultaneously. This pump is extremely versatile, able to be used vertically or horizontally. People fail to realize that the pond pump is there first and foremost to keep their fish alive by circulating oxygen dissolved in the water to the bacteria that exist in a pond filter. The Little Giant Premium Pond Pump is a safe and reliable investment. It has a unique dual-discharge design which allows for operation of two water features simultaneously. The powerful direct-drive pump produces greater starting torque and flow pressure than comparable magnetic drive submersible pumps. WE purchased the Little Giant Pump from Plumber Surplus for our small pond. The pump lasted 1 year and 2 weeks. We called Plumber Surplus and they did not help us, sent us to Little Giant. We called Little Giant and they were less than helpful. The 3 year warranty from Little Giant was useless. They had us trouble shoot and we did, with no success. Little Giant still would not help us. Asked about the 3 year warranty and they gave us the run around. We got tired of dealing with them. We are changing brands and trying another company. Hope they have a better product and customer service. Very disappointing. Plumber Supply could have helped us but, I do understand their 1 year warranty was up. But, it was only 10 days over warranty, wish they would have helped. They sent us to Little Giant and basically said, good luck with them helping you with their 3 year warranty, they were right.

Recommended? No. I do not recommend this product.

I have had the original in my pond for over three years and love it.
It serves two small ponds connected by waterfalls. Easy to clean.

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.
