Good pump, bad check valve
9/25/2012
After three years in service the pump still runs good. It's a little noisy though. On 8/14/2012 the black plastic 3/8 inch "check valve" broke in two at the plastic threaded shaft area. I think the plastic threads were cut too deep at the factory and failed in service. When it failed it blew water all over the place. I will order two replacement check valves ($4.16 each) so I can have spares. Very easy to replace. Otherwise the pump runs good. If the entire pump fails I think I can replace it very easily myself.

Too easy to believe

My original condensate pump broken down, more like fell apart. I found the product label, went on line, ordered the 'modern' version of the same pump (mine was 10 years old). [...]. I opened the box and in 5 minutes, the new pump was installed, and up and running. I feel like a star, and probably saved $500 and 2 weeks of time for not having to call a plumber. [...]. The pump is noise-less and efficient.

Broke After 4 Years
2/4/2009
We got a new furnace installed in September 2004, with this condensation pump. It stopped working last night (Jan 2009) and we had water all over our basement this morning. These pumps should last more than 4-5 years. I would look for something more durable.
