Magnetically driven pumps for semi-corrosive chemicals and solutions. The MD-SC Series features leakproof, seal-less magnetic drives and are designed for in-line, non-submersed use. These pumps feature polypropylene, ceramic and Buna-n® parts. Thermally protected open fan-cooled motor with ball bearings. 6 ft. power cord and 3-prong molded plug. (230V version has no plug).

Review on Little Giant 3-MD-SC 1/12 HP, 750 GPH @ 1' - Magnetic Drive Pump, 6' Power Cord (581503)

This is a replacement part for the Air Conditioning Sea water pump on my Formula 310SS. Thanks to the reasonable access to replacing this pump by Formua Boats I was able to install this new pump in less than 30 minutes. If you know boating, nothing gets done in 30 minutes! The original pump lasted 3 years down the Gulf Coast. The pump itself was immersed in salt water at least twice due to bilge pump failures. For the price or any price, it's a good buy. [...]
