Laing SMT-303-BSW Low Flow Circulator Pump with Line Cord (LHB08100081) and Timer (LHB08260001)

The product is a replacement for the original which worked for 10 years. It works just like the original and has a variable speed feature which is new. The part numbers supplied are different from the part listed but they are accurate replacement numbers.

My house had a Laing SMT-303-BSW Low Flow Circulator Pump that was original to the house and was 15 years old. A few months ago it started to make noise and in a few days it ceased working. I ordered a new unit and after 20 minutes installing the timer to the pump body I unscrewed the old unit and screwed on the new one. That is all there was to it. New new body matched perfectly with the 15 year old one and I didn't need to take any piping apart. What a quality product. This is my kind of plumbing.

Would be even better if we had a direct return to the origial cold water source. I am going to use a small timer at the source to shut the unit off.

I installed this circulator pump near the hot water tank at the office where I work. The installation was very straight-forward, and I could not be any more happy with its performance. The built-in timer function is a nice (economical) option that saves electrical energy, and will maybe extend the pump life as well.

Had to replace a 10-year old recirculating pump. I was pleasantly surprised that Laing still makes the same exact models. Ordered this one with built-in timer unlike my old one that ran continuously until I put a line-cord timer on it. New pump installation took 30 seconds since it screwed perfectly onto the old collar. Could not have been easier! [...] Absolutely no problems at all. It really doesn't get any better than this experience.
