Laing SMT-303-BSW Low Flow Circulator Pump with Line Cord (LHB08100081) and Timer (LHB08260001)

A circulator pump is a specific type of pump used to circulate gases or liquids in a closed circuit. They are commonly found circulating water in a hydronic heating or cooling system. This low flow circulator pump has a 24 hour built-in timer to shut off systems when it is not being used. Low flow provides minimal flow velocities thereby reducing the effect of pipe erosion and noise caused by vibration. Standard pump configuration includes brass in-line housing as well as a concealed capacitor. Pump on requires 33 watts of power to operate.

3/5 StarsNegative aspect | Replaced older unit same high quality. Problem - thermostat on circulation pump overrides timer, pump runs constantly.
Recommended? No.
5/5 StarsLang HW Circulating Pump | Came quick, installed easily and was a fair price. Caution: Make sure you remove the old o-ring as it sticks to the top housing and you can't see it. I installed with the old and new o-ring and it didn't leak but may have in the future. I used my old upper housing as it's not easily changed. Love the variable speeds-set mine on #2 Eco and works fine.
Recommended? Yes.
5/5 StarsEverthing Worked | The product is a replacement for the original which worked for 10 years. It works just like the original and has a variable speed feature which is new. The part numbers supplied are different from the part listed but they are accurate replacement numbers.

5/5 StarsLAING CIRCULATOR PUMP | My house had a Laing SMT-303-BSW Low Flow Circulator Pump that was original to the house and was 15 years old. A few months ago it started to make noise and in a few days it ceased working. I ordered a new unit and after 20 minutes installing the timer to the pump body I unscrewed the old unit and screwed on the new one. That is all there was to it. New new body matched perfectly with the 15 year old one and I didn't need to take any piping apart. What a quality product. This is my kind of plumbing.
Recommended? Yes.
4/5 StarsVery pleased with the quality of the uni | Would be even better if we had a direct return to the origial cold water source. I am going to use a small timer at the source to shut the unit off.
Recommended? Yes.
5/5 StarsAwesome little pump. Quiet too! | I installed this circulator pump near the hot water tank at the office where I work. The installation was very straight-forward, and I could not be any more happy with its performance. The built-in timer function is a nice (economical) option that saves electrical energy, and will maybe extend the pump life as well.
Recommended? Yes.
5/5 StarsNo hassle fix | Had to replace a 10-year old recirculating pump. I was pleasantly surprised that Laing still makes the same exact models. Ordered this one with built-in timer unlike my old one that ran continuously until I put a line-cord timer on it. New pump installation took 30 seconds since it screwed perfectly onto the old collar. Could not have been easier! [...] Absolutely no problems at all. It really doesn't get any better than this experience.
