Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump with Line Cord, Timer, Check Valve, and Thermostat

The Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump with Line Cord, Timer, Check Valve, and Thermostat is installed under the sink or faucet farthest from the water heater -- where hot water usually takes the longest amount of time to arrive.

A built-in temperature sensor automatically turns the Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump on when the water temperature in the hot water supply line cools down to 85º F. This cool water in the hot water supply line is then pumped into the cold water line and back into the water heater.

The Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump with Line Cord, Timer, Check Valve, and Thermostat turns off automatically when the hot water supply line to the faucet reaches 95º F, ensuring the instant availability of shower warm water with maximum temperature hot water only seconds behind. When the pump is automatically turned off by the built-in thermostat, an auto closure device prevents hot or cold water from mixing in either supply line.

Hot water will also be instantly available at all other faucets in the supply line between the water heater and the faucet where the AutoCirc pump is installed.

Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump with Line Cord, Timer, Check Valve, and Thermostat Features:

• AutoCirc saves money and pays for itself in a short period of time (see Energy Savings Chart)
• AutoCirc is silent during operation.
• AutoCirc has a built-in 24-hour timer, which allows selection of system operating periods to suit your living pattern.
• AutoCirc requires only 33 watts -- 0.3 amps of power.
• AutoCirc costs only pennies a day to operate.
• AutoCirc comes complete with a built-in 6-ft. long cord with plug for connection to a standard 115-volt outlet.

Laing LHB08100093 AutoCirc Retro-Fit Circulator Pump with Line Cord, Timer, Check Valve, and Thermostat has Only 7 Basic Installation Steps:
• Select sink under which the AutoCirc should be located (Sink where hot water takes longest to arrive).
• Install a 115 volt outlet under sink or run cord to outlet near sink.
• Turn off angle stops valves and disconnect existing supply hoses from the hot and cold water supply inlets of the faucet.
• Attach 3/8" end of the new hoses to pump housing and attach other 1/2" end to the hot and cold water supply inlets of the faucet.
• Attach existing supply hoses from the angle stop valves to the 1/2" hot and cold water inlets of the AutoCirc pump.
• Set pump timer for desired operation period.
• Install the AutoCirc to the wall under the sink with the bracket provided. Turn on the water at the angle stop valves and plug in the 115 volt cord into the outlet. Turn on the desired run mode setting and the system is now operational.

5/5 StarsThird Time a Charm | Had to go through 3 units before I go one that worked properly. The inside propeller is plastic and the parts were broken on the first two. It does do a decent job but for the price you would expect better.
Recommended? Yes.
5/5 StarsExcellent for immediate hot water! | My father-in-law recommended this to me after I saw it installed in his house. You install it under the sink that is the furthest from the water heater. This way, all the sinks (including the one where the unit is installed) have instant hot water. You just need to buy two hoses (dimensions in the manual), have a wrench/pliers and an electric outlet, and you're done. You can have "always on" instant hot water or set the timer for it to turn on multiple times during the day. And the timer is very easy to set! If you're wondering whether you'll like this product...you will. Just buy it. No more washing my face with cold water or waiting for the hot water. I love it!

5/5 StarsGreat solution at a reasonable price | It's easy to understand the installation and use of this pump.
Recommended? Yes.
4/5 StarsQuick, Easy, Dependable | I installed this myself 3 yrs. ago at the furthest tap from the hot water tank and it works perfectly. Being under the sink I never hear it. The hot water is always there when you want it. It's maintenance free and works perfectly. You'd never even know it's there. The only drawback is that the cold line has warm water in it for about 20 seconds so you have to run it for a while to get cold water.

5/5 StarsVery Satisfied Customer | We installed it under the furtherest bathroom sink. It works as advertised. Was easy to install.
Recommended? Yes.
5/5 StarsGreat Product | I bought this product about four years ago and it has worked perfect. I don't use the timer funtion due to the fact that I don't want the hassle of having to re-set it every time the power goes out, if it had a digital timer with battery back up, i would use it. I leave it on all the time and because it is controled by a thermostat it only comes on about 3 times per hour for about 30 seconds each time. It runs very quiet, you really have to listen closely to hear it. Easy to install. I'm in the middle of renovating my bathroom where i had it installed and I miss it.
Recommended? Yes.
1/5 StarsNot All Its Cut Out To Be | Product works but even with a soft-water system it must be dismantled and soaked in hot vinegar once a year to keep its ports open and operating. It is a real pain especially when the initial price of the unit is considered.
Recommended? No.
5/5 StarsJust what I was looking for. | I installed this device in my kitchen as the kitchen is farthest from my water heater. The installation was simple and straight forward. It took less than an hour to complete. No leaks, and hot water to the kitchen sink a heck of a lot quicker. Saves water too!!!!
Recommended? Yes.

Q:I wanted to know how to set the timer for 7am to 9am to come on and in what positions should the dial numbers be? Currently the unit has the 7,8,9 numbers extended outward and the dial is approx. the 3 position of a standard clock and the unit was on at 2pm so it is roughly 6 or 7 hours late coming on. If you could help I would appreciate it. Doug | Tuesday, November 27, 2012
