Kohler GP1037021-CP Plunger Assembly, Standard, Polished Chrome

In trying to replace a Kohler Plunger assembly for my bathroom sink, I purchased what was specified to be "standard", which I took to indicate a size. But it is larger than what I had, does not fit, and cannot be used. Maybe if the spec sheet had some dimensions I could have seen that before my purchase.

The purchase price was very reasonable and there was no shipping charge, and if it had fit, it would have been cheaper than going to a home center or a plumbing supply house.

This stopper works just like it should. I purchased 2 of these even though I only needed 1, so now I have a spare. The chrome stopper does say Kohler on it but is very very faint.
