The Karp KRP-150-FR Insulated Fire Rated Stainless Steel Access Door is flush mounted, with anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. The frame and trim are type 304 stainless steel. The door is also type 304 stainless steel, welded pan type and filled with 2" thick fire-rated insulation and will open to 175°. The door is also self-latching with automatic closer and interior latch release. The hinge is a continuous piano hinge. Stainless Steel has No. 4 satin polish finish.

The Karp KRP-150-FR Insulated Fire Rated Stainless Steel Access Door is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, and may be used in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly. Additionally, Warnock Hersey rates the KRP-150-FR for 3 hours in ceilings.

The Karp KRP-150-FR Insulated Fire Rated Stainless Steel Access Door comes with ring turn and t-lock.
