So after days of looking at porch lights I decided on this light. The features are really awesome dual bright and dusk till dawn, in a nice looking light. So I got it home, set my settings to max sensitivity, dusk till dawn on and motion full brightness set for 1 min. I then went onto installing a fancy new utilitec 7.5 watt dimmable daylight led from lowes. Here is where my problem happened it would dim no problem dusk till dawn but only flicker when motion was detected and on occasion 1 out of 4 times it would turn on full brightness. So I thought hey its a bunk one, but luckliy I own half a dozen lowes led bulbs. So one bye one I tested and I can tell you utilitec led bulbs dont work in this fixture. The next day I went to multiple stores including lowes trying to find a 30 watt fully dimmable daylight cfl. Well guess what they dont sell them, anywhere maby an online distributer but I want my light now so I decided to buy another brand dimmable led, I went ahead and purchased an ecosmart 14 watt daylight led brought it home from HD and WOOOHOOO it worked. I must have checked it a dozen times it runs nice and dim dusk till dawn and when it detects motion goes on full brightness and let me tell you a 14 watt led is bright like 90-100 watts no problem. Please understand led are not perfect but they have come a long way and its the way of the future. I promise you after reading my review if you decide to purchase this and the right bulb you will be extremely pleased. Any question let me know ill be glad to help.

This lamp is installed right outside the back door. The dual bright is nice. The original lamp didn't have that, but I really like it.

I like the function of these lights (just like the old Heath lights they're replacing). The bubble glass is very handsome and they function perfectly. My only critique is I would like the max bulb to be 150 watt, as it seems dimmer than my old 3 candleabra front door fixtures (at 180 W total). For those who've had trouble getting them to sense motion soon enough, make sure the sensor on the back is set to max.

These lights were very easy to install (even doing the wiring of 2 motion lights tied together). I love the fact that if one of the 2 detects motion they both turn on.

I installed one of these lights on each side of my front door. The front door is covered by a farmer's porch, but the New England weather is still a factor when selecting lighting products for this area. Although the lights have only been in place for a month, I have been very happy with their performance. I configured both of the lights to use the photocell so that daytime operations are not an issue. Also, I set both lights to use motion detection to avoid leaving the lights on through the night. Both settings have worked well so far and I am very pleased with the performance and look of the lights.

I am installed this lantern by a rear entry door to our bedroom.

While it's nice looking, the sensor doesn't turn on until i'm at the door already and when on, only stays on for a couple seconds--not long enough to unlock the door.

We installed this to replace our front porch light and provide a bit of security for a dark walk. Our house sits on a hill, and I was worried the motion sensor wouldn't detect guests until they reached the porch steps. No worries! The light clicks on just as I step out of my car about 20 feet away and 12 feet lower than the light. I think I only have mid-range sensitivity set right now, too. Just what we needed. Also nice, the bubble glass conceals a compact florescent bulb, so we save even more money!

The lamp is attached to the stucco wall next to the garage door. We ordered it because the Mission style goes with our bungalow and hoped to improve lighting on the driveway and increase security for our home. The lamp is attractive and sheds a bright light, but the motion sensing feature works only when a person or car is about 5 feet from it. Though I adjusted the angle of the detector and set the sensitivity on maximum, the lamp's performance did not improve.
