If you buy multipel umits with same chanel sender and recevers you can scrap all but one recever and mount senders in multipal locations to controol recever from many locations.

THIS IS ACTUALLY THE 2ND SWITCH WE'VE PURCHASED, ONLY BECAUSE A LIGHTNING STRIKE NEAR OUR HOUSE TOOK THE 1ST SWITCH OUT OF COMMISSION. BUT, WE RECENTLY HAVE BUILT A 2 CAR UNATTACHED GARAGE AND DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO RUN AN OUTSIDE LIGHT SWITCH UNDERGROUND TO THE GARAGE FROM THE HOUSE TO USE THE OUTSIDE LIGHT ON THE GARAGE. THIS SWITCH HANDLES THAT INCONVENIENCE PERFECTLY. (ALSO KEEPS THE WIFE HAPPY!!)

I have a shed about 40 feet from house and this lets me turn the lights on or off from either location without running wires.perfect

In the last several years, my wife and I replaced the kitchen windows with a sliding glass door. Unfortunately, the back porch light switch is around the corner in the den by the old exit. I wanted to find a way to control the light near the sliding glass door, without the need to hire an electrician to install a second switch (...they're expensive you know - the electrician, not the switch). Anyway, discovered this product and thought I would give it a try. I could not have been more pleased. I simply replaced the old switch near the back door, inserted a battery in the new switch, and it worked perfectly. The new switch is now proudly mounted next to the sliding glass door, and the back porch light is available whenever we want it.

I installed this in 5 minutes and it works great. I wanted to mount the remote switch in the wall (aka an old work box)so that you couldn't tell it was wireless but it only designed for external mounting. Other than that minor issue I'm happy with the product and price.

The Add-on Switch is a quick and affordable way to correct for that location in your house that somehow didn't get wired for a light switch during construction or a remodel. It installs easily and works as advertised. Unfortunately Plumbersurplus does not provide a way to select which channel switch you wish to order. So while I had planned to add a switch in the great room and another one for the yard light I received 2 switch sets that were on the same channel. So now I'm stuck with a switch set that may get used in some other house in some other life... That would have worked-out much better if the switch had selectable channels or the order form allowed for choosing which channel.

Easy installation, it did exactyly what I needed it for. Had a switch on the wall with a large piece of furniture blocking it. This was the perfect solution at a great price! I would recommend to any level of installer. Switch is kind of bulky, but not a negative.

I have several of these in my house. They come in several frequencies. Sure beats fishing and replastering to put a switch where you need it.

Used to provide a 3 way switch for driveway lights.
Cheaper than 12/3 copper wire.
Unit does not have ground wire. Antenna must be extended in wall for reliable opereation.
Cannot buy remote switch seperately

My bathroom light switch was mounted outside of the bathroom for some strange reason. We just couldn't get used to that. I put this inside in the usual place, like it should be. We're happy now.

I built a detached 2-car garage with 3 decorative lights accross the front. After it was built, I realized it was a nuisance to go out to the garage every time I wanted to turn the lights on/off. I replaced the switch in the garage with the Heath-Zenith unit and added the remote switch inside the back door of the house. Now I can control the lights from the house or the garage.

Great way to remote any in wall switch. Replaced existing switch with the one supplied. Simply remove the wall plate, unscrew, disconnect only wires and add new ones with supplied wire nuts, reassemble. (Remember to disconnect power while doing this.) Put the remote wall switch anywhere (I used double stick it to the wall), put in the 9V battery (non-supplied, need to buy) and it work great. Recommend.

Great product for use wherever hard wiring is impractical.

The wireless add on switch is a great problem solver. We moved a bedroom upstairs with only 1 light switch at the bottom of the stairs. I wanted to install a 3way switch years ago but the thought of running over 100feet of wire was just a hassle. If you can replace a lightswitch or outlet, this is for you. Even if you can't someone you know can. It is well worth it. Plumberssurplus had the best price, and even with the s&h was cheaper than [...] Which you cant get it in any of thier stores, only online.We have been using this product for 1 month, and it is great. Do yourself a favor and buy one. Install 10 min for beginner. Not having to go back down the stairs to turn off the light Priceless.

Perfect for turning on exterior garage lights from the main entry of the house when the primary light switch was installed in the garage.

Sounded good, but is not just another switch. It can only be used with incandescent lighting for some reason, not with the LED or florescent light that I needed to use it with.
