Design of the switch can be better (not from the 80-s), but I knew what I was purchasing - picture shows clearly what you get. So leaving 5 stars.

Bought this for 91 year old disabled parent, She loves it and keeps it with her all the time. A flick of the switch and she has plenty of light and can move about freely. It could not have worked out better!

I have purchased 4 or 5 of these swithes over the last 10+ years. Have used them to add a switch across the room for a lamp where there was no switch. Got one for my daughter who has a baby monitor which plugs into a wall switch in a built in cabinet. I allows easy method to shut off monitor when not in use. I have tried other brands but have had problems with them.

I had hoped to find a way to install this wireless switch inside an existing box, rather than an external mounting on the wall. But it's about 1/8 inch too wide to fit even after trimming. So I cannot put the product to use.

My bench test of the switch was not very positive either. The power at the receptacle would go "on" or "off" without fully flipping the switch. I'm not sure what this could eventually lead to.
