• Makes quick and easy flares in copper, aluminum, brass and other thin-wall tubing
• Handles 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2" and 5/8" tubing
• Sizes are individually marked on bars
• 45 degree cone makes smooth flares
• Sliding T-handle provides added leverage
• Extended bars for use in a vise
• The cast iron yoke slips quickly over the bars without removing wing nuts
• Heavy duty feed thread for added durability
• Instructions
• Before Flaring: - Check that both the inner and outer pipe surfaces have been deburred
• Oil the cone surface to reduce friction
• Creating a Flare: 1. Open bars and insert tubing into appropriate diameter hole. 2. Leave approximately 1/4" to 3/8" of the tubing exposed above the bars. 3. Tighten wing nuts. 4. Install the yoke over the tube. 5. Tighten down the yoke until the cone is centered over the tube. 6. Slowly turn the t-handle until the pipe is flared. DO NOT over tighten. 7. Check flare after removing from assembly.
