Delta RP50587 Single Handle Valve Cartridge

I called a plumber to fix my leaking kitchen faucet. He took the flow valve apart and said this is a cartage type that needs to be replaced and he did not have one. He headed to Home Depot where the faucet was purchased and they did not have a replacement. He went to all the plumbing places, in our small town, where he thought the replacement would be in stock--no luck. He ended up cleaning the value and it worked ok. He suggested I go on line and see if I could find a replacement value. Located on through a search engine on-line and contacted Plumbersurplus, excellent website, and figured out what to order as a replacement. The value arrived quickly and I replaced it. Works great.
