Delta RP28603 Seats, Springs and Quad Rings

The parts came very quickly & they were exactly what I needed. Prices were excellent & shipping was free. I definitely plan to shop here again.

Our home was built in 2001 and fitted with a Delta Monitor 1700 in each bath. We had two dripping shower faucets so last Sunday we turned off the water to the house and disassembled both to identify the offending part. Assuming it was the cartridges, we took both in hand and made trips all over town to find their replacement only to find out that they aren't a stocked item in either of the big box stores. So, we trekked back home only to REassemble both showers so we could turn the water back on to the house. Funny thing though, only one continued to leak. We realized the problem was likely the springs and seats - NOT the cartridges. So, the following morning I made another trip to find new seats and springs only to discover . . . . they aren't a stocked item. However, it did give me an opportunity to look through Delta's parts book which lead me to the correct part number for the 1700. Finally - some progress! Came home, Googled the part number, found this site, plunked in my card number and a few days later had parts in hand. Today I installed these items without issue and - praise the Lord - NO DRIPS! My only word of advice is to pick up some plumber's grease to make the art of getting the quad ring to stay in place much easier. Thank you plumbersurplus.com for saving me the $120.00 two new cartirdges would have cost!

Fixed the leak in the shower. Parts were cheap enough with shipping to try the fix before replacing the unit.

Less than an hour repair with few tools required. Wife is happy now that "master" bath shower no longer leaks.

The part was reasonably priced, delivered promptly and fixed the problem. My wife is happy, so I am happy. Would buy from again.

I looked all over town twice (wasting many hours) looking for this seal kit and finally gave up when I found Plumbers Surplus. The parts were exactly as described and pictured. [...]Just made the repair yesterday and the shower faucet works like new again.

Couldn't find this kit in any local hardware store in my area and tried to substitute connected washer with similar separate O-rings but still had a leak. Found this site with the correct kit reasonably priced [...]. Leak was repaired and done!

I saw on YOUTUBE about how to replace this parts. It would be nice if it comes with instructions or URL to youtube page.

Simple to install (15 minutes total), and fixed my leaking shower head. The package didn't come with any instructions, but they're not necessary for a simple fix (I'd bet you can find instructions online, but I didn't look). Plumber Surplus had the item to me in a reasonable amount of time. I'll definitely check back for other plumbing needs.
