Trying to buy the valve was difficult. The Delta website was confusing. Their customer service was worse until I called back and talked with a person who recommended the correct valve. The price [...]from plumber surplus was excellent.

Review on Delta R10000-UNBX MultiChoice Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body

The unit includes a plastic drywall mounting jig/template but if you use this to mount it flush with the drywall, the shower handle sticks out a long way. This jig is really intended for back-to-back installations. You can mount the unit deeper in the wall if you have the space behind the wall surface. The finishing kit allows almost 2 inches of flexibility here. This isn't clear in the instructions.

Recommended? Yes. I recommend this product.

A:	This valve will not work with a Price Pfister product. These valves are designed to only work with the manufacturer that made the product. Thus a Price Pfister trim would need a Price Pfister valve and this Delta valve would need Delta trim. Hope that helps!
