Chronomite SR30L/240 Instant-Flow SR Tankless Water Heater

This water heater works great for 1 to 2 sinks. Only uses electric when hot water is run.

This is great choice for my workshop. I heat my shop to 40 degrees when not working in it. It is nice to hot water whenever it is needed. This unit works great. Havent got an electric bill yet, but I use it pretty infrequent and it only pulls electric when I run the hot water.

We installed in a shop we have and are in Eastern Washington. We use it infrequently. In winter, the water isn't super hot but plenty warm for our uses of washing hands, etc. It's way better than paying to keep a tank hot 24/7 or than having no hot water at all. For the price - I think it's a bargain.

I installed the Chronomite SR-30 240V today and it worked like a champ! The 120V 30A Steibler Eltron unit that was on there before was pretty much useless. I used the existing 10 AWG (30 amp) wiring, replaced the 120 breaker with a 240 breaker and used the nuetral (white wire) for the second hot lead - piece of cake.

Note: make sure you get the correct volts (208V vs. 240V) to match your power supply. The water heater units will not auto-adjust. Check your existing breakers or electrical panel - they should tell you which voltage applies. Otherwise use a volt meter and touch each lead to each wire on an existing double breaker. The tester should either read 208V or 240V.

Use this item as a booster for the hot water supply. The main water heater is to distant from the sink to give hot water. This product puts it there instantly.
