5/5 StarsYou will NOT be disappointed! | As much as I liked my old, used 20 year old Bosch, I am very pleased with the JS 365. No longer do I need a long, thin slotted screw driver to replace blades. This model has a blade change lever making it so easy to change blades. Also, it has a dust blower that makes it easy to see the line that your cutting. This model also has a splinter guard that can be easily removed when necessary. For the project that I was doing, I needed to cut 11/16 inch galvanized steel conduit. My neighbor lent me his old Black & Decker jig saw. It shook around so much, couldn't even break through the surface, and I quit after a brief struggle. I didn't want to break his saw and have to buy or pay for repairs, which I would have had to do if I insisted on doing things the hard way. My sawzall worked better, but it's too dangerous, having to hold the pipe still and cut with one hand. I would NOT recommend that option, especially to a novice. Plus it was not the most accurate cutting method as well. No problem with the JS365. With 6.5 amps, multiple variable settings, and the ease of operation, cutting steel has never been so easy. I've also used the bevel adjustments to make cuts as clean as a miter saw. I'm pleased so far; best jig saw I've ever used and my last Bosch was good too!
