Acudor FA-300 Angle Frame Floor Access Door Description

The Acudor FA-150 / 300 / H20 series aluminum floor access doors are designed for interior and exterior applications where water tightness is not required. The angle frame construction with integral anchor flange is designed to cast into concrete. The diamond plate door panel is equipped with a flush aluminum drop handle and an automatic hold open arm with red vinyl grip.

Floor Access Door Material: Aluminum door and frame: stainless steel hinges and hardware.

Floor Access Door: FA-150: 3/16" aluminum diamond plate reinforced for live load of 150 pounds/sq.ft. FA-300: 1/4" aluminum diamond plate reinforced for live load of 300 pounds/sq.ft. FA-H2O: 1/4" aluminum diamond plate reinforced to meet AASHTO specifications H2O-44 for traffic loading (16,000 lb. wheel load with 30% added for impact.)

Floor Access Door Frame: Angle frame fabricated from aluminum extrusion with an integral 1" anchor flange.

Floor Access Door Hinge: Stainless Steel butt hinges with tamperproof stainless steel bolts and nuts.

Floor Access Door Opening Device: Automatic hold open arm with red vinyl grip allows door panel to open to 90 degrees, locking door in open position, and allowing for easy control when closing door panel. When required, stainless steel compression springs can be provided to add lift assistance.

Floor Access Door Latch: Flush aluminum drop handle with staple for padlock.

Floor Access Door Finish: Mill finish, with optional bituminous coating on exterior of frame.
