Voltage
Voltage
Voltage is the difference of electrical potential between two points of an electrical network, expressed in volts (V). It is a measure of the capacity of an electric field to cause an electric current in an electrical conductor. Typical application values include 12V, 110V (sometimes also expressed as 115V or 120V), 220V (sometimes also expressed as 230V or 240V), 277V, and 460V.
