Stop Valves are used at plumbing fixtures to terminate and control hot and cold water so that the fixture can be easily replaced. Most often stop valves are installed under a sink, or on the connection to a toilet and can be angled to provide easier access. Consider stop valves during the construction process so you do not have to turn the whole house water off to change a fixture.
